After a hard day's work, or shopping, or gym, I always look forward to be back home again. Some people get bored staying at home, but I personally enjoyed being at home. There's a lot to do, like watching TV, surfing the net, listening to music, reading a magazine, sleeping etc etc......
However, the past week, and the coming two weeks or so, I will suffer as our house undergoes renovation and repainting.
The workers have already stripped the wallpapers off the walls, so what's left is the refining and repainting.
The entire house is in a mess. Items are piled everywhere - on the sofa, the dining table, the beds, the floor. Currently we do not have a proper place to eat, watch TV, or even sleep. I can't work also as the dining table is cluttered with other objects (but that can mean a good thing too). We need to do a detour just to get from one side of the house to the other. I can't even sleep in late during the weekends, as the curtains were gone and I will wake up once the sun is up.
Somehow I feel that my room lost its privacy too, ever since the curtains were gone, and the two painters were in the room. I tried my best to hide everything, but of course it's impossible to hide all my stuff in my already tiny room. With the house - including my room - so messy, it felt like my life has also gone topsy turvy......
On a brighter side, I've gotten two chairs from the recent asset sale by my company at a good bargain. The person who was more excited about the chairs was my Oka-san. [Note to Ototo-san : I wanted to put that chair in your room, but I guess not. Anyway, you won't be back so soon]
Meanwhile, I need to decide if I should replace the oh-so-cute fluffy sheep poster with something else, or just stick to it for now......but it's just so cute......wonder if the hippo still has a fetish with sheep...
Saying all this, it's time for me to go to bed. But first, I need to remove all the objects piling on top of it.....again......
Can't wait for the repainting and renovations to be over soon!!!!!!
