No surprise here, Jordin Sparks is the new American Idol! Congrats Jordin!
As usual, lots of performance before the announcement is made. Here are my thoughts to some of them :
Best performance : Melinda Dolittle with Bebe and Cece Winans. I wish Melinda all her best in her singing career.
Most original performance : Blake Lewis doing what he does best - beatboxing with Doug E Fresh. If not for Blake, many of us would not be introduced to beatbox.
Most appalling performance : Sanjaya Malakar with Joe Perry. What the @$#&% ?????? He sucks big time and still get to perform with Joe Perry?
Most disappointing performance : Sorry Bette Midler, I thought you could sing better than this.
Funniest moment : When Ryan and Simon were being nominated for Golden Idol Award for Best Buddies. They didn't win though.
Will be anticipating Jordin's first single - This Is My Now :)
