Cold Feet

Just less than 24 hours, and I'll be signing the legal document that will change my life forever.

Some couples get so excited over this, but why do I feel like I have butterflies in the stomach? A case of cold feet?

Spoke to the Busy Man and he seemed to have the same feeling as I do. He seemed concern having to lose his 'bachelorhood' status though, but that's a different story altogether.

Perhaps it's just a relationship we are in so long and comfortable with, and having to change the status quo eventually. Even though we will not be staying together until after the church wedding and tea ceremony, I can already feel there's a whole new life that I had to adjust to with him.

I wonder how long that will take.

Cold feet, please go away.

Don't worry. I had the same feeling too. Just the moment when you are about to sign, you will think to yourself "This is it. Sign it and it's forever. There's no turning back. Half a second to sign but if anything goes wrong, it will take 'forever' to get out".

You'll be fine. Look towards that you both will start a life as "Husband and wife" legally.

Hey there!

This entry made me think a little, although I've never felt that way before. Nah, I'm still too young to reach that status.

Don't worry. You're just nervous, I think. Everything will be fine. =)
