Happy New Year everyone!
It was a fun-filled night, and our friends went home about 3:30am (after watching part of Transformers). Looking forward to similar gathering next time!
We celebrated New Year within the comforts of our new home, and invited the usual gang over for food, drinks and a whole lot of fun. It was pot luck and the food were simple yet sinful - satay, fried noodles, KFC, Baskin Robbins, plenty of soft drinks and chips. Probably the only healthy food was the fruit salad made by Tham.
We enjoyed a panoramic view of both the fireworks at The Curve and 1 Utama from the balcony of our home. While The Curve seemed to have the standard fireworks, 1 Utama took one step further and displayed new fireworks which were indeed beautiful.
Movies were aplenty on Star Movies and HBO that night - Transformers, Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. However, the highlight of the night had to be Uno Stacko.

It was fun and eventually nail-biting as each one of us attempted to remove the blocks according to the colour and then stacking them above without making the structure collapse. There was a time some of the guys were sabotaging one another by pulling the Draw Two blocks, and as a result the next person had to pull out not one, but two blocks!
Our record of the night was a 32-storey wobbly tower before it was 'ruined' by Eric. Poor guy didn't really have much choices in blocks anyway. Plus it was almost 3am when the tower collapsed. Hopefully the neighbours below were not affected.
