It's been a long while since I had a ladies' night out, so was looking forward to today's meet up with Link and SV. Mission? To watch 'Confessions of a Shopaholic'.
I've never read the first book, but enjoyed 'Shopaholic Takes Manhattan'. Apparently this movie is a combination of both books, which explains why certain scenes felt so familiar.
One thing I noticed is the extreme use of colours in the movie, especially pink. I love pink but I never knew it can be such a fun colour! There's also moments of Sex and the City (especially the outragous bridesmaid dress with colourful cancan underneath). Well, that's Patricia Field at her most creative.

I find the dance scene hilarious, especially during the part Rebecca kept unintentionally smacking Luke's face with the fan, and the weird dance. More noticibly, I love her lavender Miu Miu shoes, even though I know I won't be able to pull it off in real life.

It was definitely a feel good movie, and I'm glad to have watched it and know I'm definitely NOT a shopaholic!
Here's a 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' Polyvore set I came up with, haven't updated one since the longest time. Hope you like it!
