Count Your Blessings

Sometimes I take things for granted.

I assumed too much, or never think through things, causing my loved ones much grief and inconvenience.

Recently so many things get into my head, I lose sight of what's really important.

It was these few days I learnt one thing that I forgotten quite a while - Count my blessings.

I'm blessed with caring parents who always love me.

I'm blessed with a loving and tolerant husband, who is also my life-mentor.

I'm blessed to have a brother, though we have different characters, blood is thicker than water.

I'm blessed that I have a roof over my head, a car I can drive to work, and money to pay for petrol and house maintenance.

I'm blessed to have a job, though things are not as smooth as I want it to be.

I'm blessed with a team, though now we are one person short, I really pray we can get the replacement soon enough, and they will all support me, each other and the entire organisation.

I'm blessed with generally good health, I used to complain so much about my weight but now I want to take responsibility to live better instead.

I'm blessed to have a few good friends whom I can hang out with and chit-chat.

Above all, I'm blessed to know a kind and loving GOD, for whom if all things fail, I still have HIM.

"Look at the birds : they do not plant seeds, gather a harvest and put it in barns; yet your Father in heaven takes care of them! aren't you worth much more than birds?"

~ Matthew 6:26 ~

I agree. Sometime we complain/whine too much that we tend to lose sights of other good things we have in life.

And yes, because of HIM, we are blessed with his abundance of love. HE never leave us no matter what.
