I've been playing around the idea of adding a coloured background, just like what I got for my other blog Talitha Koum. However, the thought of not having control over the width of the body layout, and potentially my banner may not match the layouts provided put me off from actually making the change.
Just today, I discovered a magical link - Blogger in Draft. It is from Blogger, but contains many in-development features like the Template Designer. Just log on to Blogger, go to Layout, and there will be a link to Template Designer. This tool contains not only more layout options, but one can even determine the colour of the backgroundto match the overall theme.
So after trying out here and there, I've finally updated my blog layout using the Template Designer. Although I wished there's more options for the background, I'm pretty pleased with it at the moment, because it matches my banner :D
