Where to Eat Near Legoland Malaysia - Part 3

This is part 3 of Where to Eat near Legoland Malaysia, as more and more eateries are being opened around Iskandar Puteri vicinity.

Visit here for Part 1 and Part 2 and Part 4 respectively.

Tian Lai Seafood Garden (Non-Halal)

Food : 8/10. This is the Bukit Indah branch of the famous Tian Lai restaurant in Gelang Patah. Ideal for crab lovers! Need to go early to get a table, especially on weekends, as they do not accept reservations.

Air conditioned ? Yes

Child friendly? They have baby chairs but is it very hard to accommodate a stroller as the restaurant is quite cramped.

Daun Kitchen (Vegetarian)

Food : 8/10. This place was recommended by my friend. It is located behind the very crowded S11 coffee shop in Bukit Indah. I like the option of vegetarian creamy spaghetti which my kids love. They also serve vegetarian individual pot steamboat. The clear and herbal soup base is very nice and light. I have not tried their cheese soup base but my friend recommend it as well.

Air conditioned? Yes

Kid/Baby friendly? It is a spacious restaurant, and able to accommodate a stroller easily. They also have ample baby chairs and kids cutlery too.

Thank U Mom

Food : 7/10. I have only been to this place once. I find the fried chicken and baked chicken tasty, but the rest of their food just average. They have family value set meal which is quite worth it if you have a small family.

Air conditioned ? Yes.

Child/Baby friendly? It is located upstairs though so not so convenient for those who have to bring a stroller. They have baby chairs available but putting a stroller may be a challenge, especially if the restaurant is full.

Tempura and Co (Non-Halal)

Food : 7/10. This is a Japanese concept restaurant focusing on tempura and ramen. If you love luncheon meat, this is the one and only place I know that serves tempura luncheon meat! There is nothing to shout about if you are looking for good tasting ramen, I would recommend Ramen Kingyu House instead. If you are looking for a place for your kids to eat noodles in peace, probably this would be recommended.

Air conditioned? Yes

Child/Baby friendly? Yes. The restaurant can accommodate strollers, and they have baby chairs and children cutlery available.

Sisters BBQ (Non Halal)

Food : 8/10. This Korean restaurant is located next to Marco Polo Restaurant, and has quite a following. If you like Korean BBQ but do not like them to cook in front of you, this is the place to be. Their BBQ meat is very nice, their other Korean dishes are generally good as well.

Air Conditioned? Yes

Child/Baby Friendly? Yes, they have baby chairs, and depending on which table, should be able to accomodate a stroller. Plus point is you dont have to worry about workers carrying hot charcoal from the kitchen to table and may accidentally burn the children.

Awesome Brew

Food : 9/10. This is a highly recommended place to go for western style breakfast/brunch. Located in Sunway Citrine, it may be a little bit out of the way, but the food and coffee is worth the trip. It is very hard to find a place that sells good western style breakfast (think eggs benedict) so I was very pleased to know of a new breakfast place to go to now.

Air conditioned? Yes

Child/Baby friendly? The cafe has an open concept, in which the children can run around the empty space next to it under adult supervision. They have a mixture of high tables/chairs, sofas/coffee tables and proper dining tables and chairs. Baby chairs and children cutlery are available.

Looking forward to more eateries in the future now Eco Botanic is up!
